Second lecture delivered @ the Laurea University on ’ RANGER project – Enhancing border security and crime prevention capabilities at the Mediterranean Sea’

Tuomas Tammilehto, project manager of the RANGER project gave another lecture on methodological difficulties of showing the value creation of RANGER project at the Leppävaara Campus of Laurea University of Applied Sciences on the 13th of June, 2018.

Tuomas highlighted the methodological difficulties of research on a topic such as RANGER, especially related with the worst humanitarian disaster touching Europe since the Second World War: the immigration crisis. Since RANGER is about making an impact, it is pertinent to demonstrate that the technological advances of RANGER are translating to human lives saved.
