The first plenary meeting of the RANGER consortium was held in Aix-en-Provence, France, on 9&10 November, 2016.
During the first day of the meeting, the consortium members presented the developments and the progress so far, within each Work Package. The presentations were followed by fruitful discussions between the participants, and further actions were defined.
On the second day, the 8 Work Package leaders presented an overview of the project’s progress to date and the next steps to the EC Project and Financial Officers who, in turn, gave useful suggestions as well as guidelines regarding financial and managerial aspects of the RANGER project.
Last but not least, the consortium had the opportunity to visit the RX site of OTH Radar, where the equipment of the Radar (servers – antennas – shelter – generator) were presented by DXT. The visit provided useful input regarding the specific needs and requirements for the installation of OTH Radars at project’s pilot sites.
